X-Ray Positioning Manikin

X-Ray Positioning Manikin

The X-ray Positioning Manikin allows students of radiography to repeatedly practice any standard projection without discomfort or danger to patients or themselves.

The manikin lies naturally in the neutral, prone, or supine positions. With the use of positioning aids, it is possible to place the manikin in other postures for all standard projections.

This life-size human figure contains a fully flexible, articulated skeleton made of a specially formulated polyurethane for realistic x-rays. No metal parts have been used in the articulation of the skeleton. The skin surface and internal organs (heart, larynx, lungs, and kidneys) are constructed of radiolucent materials.
