The E-Scope utilizes modern electronic circuitry to amplify heart, breath, and Korotkoff sounds so that they become much easier to hear. The sound is pure and clean. Murmers and faint blows are more distinguishable.
All controls are in a small electronic box. There is an output that allows the user to connect to a computer, tape recorder, telemedicine encoder, stethophone, or external headphones. Additionally, there is a filter for heart or breath sounds, an automatic shut off, and a volume control. Runs on a 9V battery for about one hundred hours of use.
Includes adult and pediatric diaphragm, three bells (adult, pediatric, and infant), and a choice of ear tips.
